"I create sculpture out of my desire to give form to thoughts, experience and emotions
the depts of which I am unable to communicate verbally. I am drawn to manifestations of natural
and spiritual beauty and use the formal language of line and opening as a starting point for my work.
Often I begin by working intuitively on a sculpture; at other times I plan and draw for several weeks
before picking up my tools.
The works evolve from the innate qualities of metal, stone, wood and other materials
The use of these materials connects and overlaps in my work, setting free new impulses through
their interaction. This exploration is fundamental to my practice. My sculptures are unique and
I am proud to be unconstrained by fashion or convention."

„Skulpturen und Plastiken gestalte ich aus meinem Bedürfnis, Gedanken, Empfindungen
und Emotionen Form zu geben deren Tiefe ich verbal nicht zu kommunizieren vermag.
Es geht mir dabei um eine Art Schönheit, von spiritueller Natur zu manifestieren.
Ich benutze Linie und Öffnung als formale Ausdruckssprache meines Oevres.
Oft fange ich intuitiv mit einer Skulptur an.
Dann wieder plane und zeichne ich über mehrere Wochen bevor ich das Werkzeug
in die Hand nehme. Die Kunstwerke die so aus Metall, Stein, Holz oder anderen
Materialien entstehen, definieren sich über längere Zeitspannen und überschneiden
sich mit anderen meiner Werkzyklen die wiederum neue Impulse schaffen!
Ich bin mir bewusst und stolz darauf, dass meine Werke einzigartig sind und keine Resultate
von momentanen Trends oder allgemeiner Lehre zeitgenössischer Kunstakademien reflektieren!"
